Professor Johnson has been awarded the Irwing Langmuir Award in Chemical Physics for his “development and exploitation of cryogenic ion spectroscopy to reveal molecular level pictures of electron and proton hydration as well as unstable reaction intermediates,” and is featured in Yale News.
