We are excited to share the news that we have been awarded for our AFOSR MURI project “Mechanistic Studies of Microdroplet Chemistry”! Working with Zare (Stanford), Graham Cooks (Purdue), Dawlaty (USC), Head-Gordon (UC Berkeley), and Min (Columbia), our group will focus on measurements of well-defined, size- and composition-selected clusters using our hybrid high-resolution mass spectrometers to gain a molecular-scale understanding of the cooperative effects that underlie speciation of solutes at interfaces in systems small enough to calibrate theory and establish basic paradigms.
